Data Protection Regulation

Information about the processing of your personal information regarding your participation in the ticket raffle and the following Tombolas.

This translation is not legally binding.

Tickets for the Fusion Festival cannot be purchased directly. Instead, you must take part in a raffle of ticket buying options or participate in a subsequent Tombolas. These purchase options are limited to a specific person (personalized) and are not transferable to other persons.

To take part in the raffle, you must first register on our website as part of an order. After completing your order you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a token link that will take you back to your order page and thereby verify the e-mail details you have entered. You must click on this link within 24 hours, otherwise your entered personal information will be deleted automatically. This means that your registration will only be effectively completed when you click on the token link for e-mail verification within 24 hours, which we have sent to the e-mail address you provided. .

After successful email verification you are registered for the raffle(s) of the ticket buying options and the Tombolas for remaining tickets. After winning a ticket buying option, you will then be asked to pay the ticket price by bank transfer.

When you register, we collect and process the following personal information from you: Surname, first name, residential address (street and house number, postcode, town, country), billing address if this differs from the residential address, date of birth, e-mail address, IP address and time of registration (log data), order number. After you have paid for your ticket by bank transfer, we will process your bank details in our accounting department.

The data processing is basically only carried out for the purpose of conducting the raffles of the ticket buying options options and the Tombolas as well to process (or cancel) the purchase of the ticket, in order to organise your participation in the festival. The legal basis for this data processing is therefore the fulfilment of the contract, Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. b DS-GVO.

To avoid uncontrolled ticket sales outside our sales system that increase the actual ticket price, we have decided to personalize the tickets. This is also one of the reasons why we need your home address. We need your date of birth to ensure that your participation complies with the youth protection regulations and to personalize your ticket. The legitimate interest worthy of protection under Article 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f of the DS-GVO lies in the need to ensure a uniform price level and the fair and equal opportunity purchase of tickets.

We also save the log data and the IP address in the course of registration on the basis of our legitimate interests, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is to identify unauthorised double registrations or to be able to trace other abusive actions. The objective of ensuring fair conditions of sale for the tickets outweighs your interest in ensuring that no log data or IP address is processed.

In the case of return bank transfers, we will pass on your name and account number to our bank. The bank may only use your personal information for order processing. The legal basis for this data processing is therefore the fulfilment of the contract, Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. b DS-GVO.

Your personal information will be deleted or pseudonymised three months after the end of the festival, but at the latest after expiry of the tax and commercial law retention periods applicable to e.g. invoices.

With the exception of the aforementioned service providers, your personal information will not be passed on to third parties.
